As an experienced Christian counselor/Coach, and a small group Bible study leader I have the passion and experience to support people when they face tough times. And, to be a good ear and an understanding heart when they need to "talk it out".
Some of my story; I retired after a professional career in customer service, and training. I am married; the father of 2 grown children, one of which has C.P. and the developmental level of a 3 yr old, with limited verbal skills.
I was the primary care giver for 13 years for my mom who suffered from dementia, she passed away due to complications in 2023.
I'm a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and an IBCC Certified Advanced Life Coach. I have experience as Crisis and Trauma first responder and also as a Mental Health Coach. I teach effective communication classes, especially for couples.
I strongly believe in Life Coaching, and have my own Life Coach too.
My primary areas of coaching are:

*Care givers of aging parents and family members
*Addiction/recovery process
*Recovery Alive provides a safe place to begin anew, for anger, anxiety, co-dependency issues.
I offer sessions on line. And I can meet face to face in the Hickory, N.C. area.
The first session is free and focuses on information gathering; and to see if Life Coaching is right for you. Further sessions are $75.00 for 50 minutes.
